Review: L’Oreal Fine Flowers Cleansing Milk

The very fact that this has the word ‘flowers’ in the name was enough for me to be excited about this new release from L’oreal – not to mention how blinking beautiful the bottle looks! I’m a sucker for aesthetics. So, when I saw this on offer in my little beauty haven, Savers, I had to pick it up to see what it was like.

Here’s what I thought!

I’ve already touched on looks, but the packaging really is to die for – there are four products in the Fine Flowers range, including a toner, a gel cream wash, face wipes & this cleansing milk – all in baby pink, all looking good enough to whack in your basket because how PRETTY. Not to mention the fact that they really are a healthy size – the milk comes in a 400ml bottle, which when I bought it on offer for £3.99, I was chuffed about because this certainly looks like it’s going to last me a good while!

All the products are aimed at those of us with dry/sensitive skin – just another reason why I picked this up, as I do have sensitive and occasionally dry skin – and all are rose and jasmine scented. Let me tell you, it smells divine. Fresh, floral & clean.

It  says it ‘removes make-up, cleanses & nourishes’ – it’s not lying! I still stick to using my eye makeup remover & face wipes just as it’s part of my routine, but then I’ve been using this after instead of washing my face -pumping a little on to a cotton wool pad (a little goes a long way!) as suggested, and smoothing over my skin – any remaining traces of makeup are removed, and I joke you not, my skin feels so smooth afterwards. Not too thick or thin in consistency, and it absorbs in to the skin beautifully.

I was dubious at first; I’ve been in such a routine of always washing my face without fail that I wasn’t sure a cleansing milk would leave my skin feeling as clean or as soft – I’m happy to say though, that it really does. I’m even finding that I don’t have to moisturise because my face feels that soft after use *does celebratory moonwalk*.

I really feel like I’m on to a winner here, and I’m definitely excited to try the other products in the Fine Flowers range. They recommend using the toner after the milk, so I think that’s what I’ll be after next!

Have a look over on Superdrug as the whole range is currently on offer, with the cleansing milk currently going for £3.99 (RRP £5.99!) – or if you’ve got a Savers store near you, have a look in there too, as it’ll be a similar price!

Let me know if you’ve tried this & what you think, or if you’ve tried any of the other products in the Fine Flowers range!

Big kisses,

  1. Kudos to Loreal for packaging this in the prettiest pink shade, idk what girl wouldn’t be automatically drawn to it (unless they hate pink of course lol) but sounds like a great product. I always use a makeup wipe too but I like having something to use for after to get any excess off- as much as I like the face wash I use now it doesn’t necessarily clean off any extra make up. Next time I hit up Target I’m totally going to go look for this!
